Akagami no Shirayukihime Anime's 2nd Season Premiere in January

The official website for Akagami no Shirayukihime (Snow White with the Red Hair) anime, the anime adaptation of the manga, announced on Tuesday that the second season of the anime will premiere in January. Masahiro Ando will direct the anime.

Sorata Akiduki's original manga and the anime follow Shirayuki (Saori Hayami), a beautiful pharmacist girl with unique red hair. Prince Raji (Jun Fukuyama) orders her to become his concubine because of the hair. She cuts her hair and runs away. Then, she meets Zen (Ryota Ohsaka), the prince of a neighboring country. A fantasy story between an optimistic heroine and a price is unfolded.

Akiduki launched the manga in LaLa in 2006. It inspired an anime adaptation aired in Japan on July 6, and a second season premiered in 2016. Additionally, a 30-minute OAD will be released on January 5.
