The Shonen Jump+ website announced that Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter manga will resum in the Ankoku Tairiku (Dark Continent) arc. More details will be revealed on this year's 16th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on Saturday.

The manga has been on hiatus since 2014. What was initially a two-week hiatus for serious lower back pain has extended until now.

The series released 32nd compiled volume since 2014. It inspired two television anime series, two anime movies and several original video anime titles.
