The anime adaptation of Ohtaka Shinobu and Ohtera Yoshifumi's spinoff manga Magi - Sinbad no Bouken got the first commercial in the official website.

 

 

The show will make a debut on April 15 on MBS, TBS, CBC, and BS-TBS.

 

The manga has five OVA episodes. The previous volumes of the manga has shipped. The main staff and cast of OVA series will return for the anime. Yoshikazu Miyao is the series director at studio Lay-duce. Taku Kishimoto is in charge of the script. Souichirou Sako is the characters designer and the chief animation director. Tomohiro ōkubo is in charge of the music. PENGUIN RESEARCH will perform the opening theme song "Spotlight," and Fujifabric will perform the ending theme song "Polaris."

Magi - Sinbad no Bouken, the spinoff of Manga Magi, takes place 30 years before the events of Magi and focuses on Sinbad's journey to become king.
