Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Light Novel's Movie Adaptation Announced

According to the 19th volume of Tsutomu Satou's Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (Irregular at Magic High School) light novel series, a theatrical movie adaptation from the novel is scheduled. "Tatsuya Shiba will become a legend", proclaimed with the announcement.

The novel series is written by Tsutomu Satou with character designs and illustrations by Kana Ishida in2008. It inspired several manga series in 2013 and a 26-episode anime in 2014.

The story is set in a world where magic exists and has been polished through modern technology. Shiba Tatsuya and Shiba Miyuki are siblings who enroll into the National Magic University First Affiliate High School, A.K.A Magic High School, but Tatsuya is an underachiever with some deficiencies and enrolls as a "Weed"(the Second Course), while Miyuki is an honor student and enrolls as a "Bloom"(the First Course). The calm campus was beginning to change when these two have entered the school.
