The last episode of the Sidonia no Kish anime aired on MBS on Friday ended with a short teaser announcing that the second season of Sidonia no Kish has been green-lit on November 23rd.

 

 

 

 

The first season was produced by Polygon Pictures and initially received heavy criticism for before opinion softened owing to the better than expected quality of the adaptation.
The second season was titled as Knights of Sidonia: War of the Ninth Planet.
