According to an official announcement, a third season of Hayate the Combat Butler is currently in production and will air this fall. Animation studio Manglobe was appointed to do the production. Manglog produced a theatrical film of Hayate the Combat Butler titled Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven Is a Place on Earth in 2011. 

Hayate the Combat Butler is a manga series written and illustrated by Kenjiro Hatal. It started serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday since 2004, and so far 29 volumes have been released in Japan. It has been adapted into anime, light novels, a film and video games. The manga centers on a boy who starts a new job as a butler and the events he experiences with his employer.
