Toukyou Kushu Stage Play’s Visual Unveiled

The official website of the Toukyou Kushu/Tokyo Ghoul stage play unveiled its main visual on Thursday. Meanwhile, the site also announced the date of tickets sale, pre-reserve tickets sale from May 8 to May 14. Regular tickets begin on May 23.

Premium tickets will only be sold during the pre-reserve period. It will cost 10,800 yen (around US$90), while regular seat reservations will cost 7,000 yen (around US$58).

The stage play will be performed at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from July 2-8, and at the Kyoto Gekijo from July 18-20.

Shōgo Suzuki as Nishiki Nishio

The play will be directed by Isamu Kayano, with script by Chuji Mikasano, music by Go Sakabe, and combat choreograph by Daisuke Shimizu.

The original manga story follows “ghouls”, which haunt Tokyo and devour humans. For these ghouls’ identities are masked in mystery, people were gripped by fear. An ordinary college student named Kaneki encounters Rize, a girl who is an avid reader like him. His fate was changed overnight.
