Bleach 653 Chapter Spoilers. Shunsui’s Brother is the one that owns the hair pins. (comment: he actually owns one though? why?)

七緒の母「…もう1本は貴男が持っていて下さい　虚討伐で貴男が傍に居ない時も同じ物を持って いることが私 の励みになります」

Nanao’s Mother: Please take the other one.

I don’t actually really understand what Nanao’s mother is saying here entirely. Something about wanting Kyoraku’s brother to have the other hairpin when she is no longer around or something and she does this as an incentive. I don’t actually know what 虚討伐 is. lol

頬を染める兄

Shunsui’s brother blushes.

それをからかうような顔で見ている京楽

Kyoraku makes a funny face.

頭突きする兄「何だその顔は！」

Kyoraku’s brother headbutts him: What the hell is that face for?

京楽「いてえ」

Kyoraku: ow!!!

兄「お前は帰って勉強でもしてろ馬鹿者！」

Brother: You should go home and study or something, you moron!

京楽「…兄貴やっぱり丸くなったよ」

Kyoraku: And I thought you had such an easygoing personality…

兄「…そんなつもりは無いな　もし俺が丸くなったように見えているとしたら　あれの優しさがそう見せてくれ ているんだろう」

Brother: I again barely understand this line. Kyoraku’s brother says that Shunsui has no plans or intentions or something… And when he presents himself acting all calm he wants to prove that he is kind or a caring person or something, perhaps to Nanao’s mother?

リジェの攻撃を必しにかわす七緒「（知らなかった…剣をとって戦うことが…こんなに怖いなんて …）」

Nanao attempting to fend off Lille’s attack: I understand…. I am gripping my sword, ready to fight… But I am so frightened.

息も荒れ、手が震える七緒

She sighs, Nanao’s hands begin to shake.

その時、左足からちが流れる

Then her left foot starts bleeding (I think it is her foot).

七緒「（斬られてる…今の弾けた光で斬れたのかも知れない…　痛い…斬られるってこんなに痛か ったんだ 痛い　怖い　足が動かない）」

Nanao: He cut me… I wasn’t aware he cut me because of that burst of light. It hurts… It hurts… I’m so scared… I can’t move my feet.

七緒を後ろから支える京楽

Kyoraku then appears and supports Nanao from behind.

七緒「（隊長…）」

Nanao: Captain…

リジェ「…ン　出て来たか　全く….部下の後ろに隠れて出るなんて…悪い隊長だ　”神の喇叭( トロンペーテ )” を聴いて?ね」

Lille: Hmmm? So You’ve come back? Hiding behind your subordinates… You are such a terrible Captain. Now, open your ears to the Trumpet of God.

京楽「いくよ、七緒ちゃん」

Kyoraku: Do it, Nanao chan.

七緒「…」

Nanao: …

京楽「大丈夫、僕が後ろで支えるから」

Kyoraku: It will be okay. I’ll be right behind you.

七緒「（ああ、隊長の優しさが流れ込んでくるようだ　隊長を支えるつもりで戻ってきたのに、結 局支えられて るのは私だ

自分で立つ事もできない私を　隊長はいつも支えてくれる）」

Nanao: Again, another line I struggle to translate properly. Nanao comments how Shunsui is so caring and despite him coming back to help her, she is the one who has need his support or help all along.

強い瞳を取り戻した七緒

Nanao regains the strength in her eyes.

神の喇叭を吹くリジェ、それは辺り一帯を吹き飛ばすが…

Lille blows the trumpet of god. It blows the entire area away.

身体が斬られているリジェ「…ン？」

Lille’s body has been cut: huh?

七緒と京楽がいるところだけ足場が残っている

Nanao and Kyoraku are standing on the only remaining foothold (the only place that hasn’t been blown away)?

リジェ「…ああ、そうか　神の力を弾くと言っていたんだったな　ふふ…神の力を弾くなどと全く …罪深いな」

Lille: Aa. Really? As I was saying, this is playing the Power of God. Huff, Huff… Lille then says something about playing the power of God and how Nanao and Shunsui are sinful.

散り散りなり堕ちていくリジェ

Lille is disordered and falls.

Bleach 652 “The Theatre Suicide 6” Summary：

 

Nanao raises up Shinken Hakkyōken and Lille comments on how bright it is shining, complaining that it hurts his eyes. However, Nanao tells him that the Zanpakutō reflects the ability of its opponent, meaning it is diffusing the light of Lille's power. Lille does not understand, but is pleased to be referred to as a god. Nanao then rushes toward him.

In the past, Nanao overheard her mother giving Shinken Hakkyōken to Shunsui, telling him the Zanpakutō would not harm someone outside the Ise Family and he was the only one she could trust. Nanao reflected on the distinct hairpins in Shunsui's hair as she saw him at Shin'ō Academy, and also noticed his kimono which resembled her mother's, though she assumed it to be a common pattern. However, the hairpins he wore were just like her mother's.

The Academy students later found out what divisions they would join, and Nanao was surprised to find her name in the Eight Division. After her mother died, Nanao was taken by an elderly couple related to the Ise Family. They treated her like their own daughter, and congratulated her upon finding out she joined the Gotei 13. Nanao reflected that despite her inability to make an Asauchi her own, she became talented in Kidō and was able to join the Eighth Division. Nanao began realizing after her captain Shunsui changed his haori and removed his hairpins that he was the man whom her mother entrusted something precious to.

In the present, Lille taunts Nanao that no blade can harm him, but she slashes him in the arm. However, Lille parries her strike with a great flash, shocking Nanao. Lille expresses surprise that Nanao was able to lay her blade on him but says that was her last chance as he creates a giant ball of light, ready to annihilate her. Meanwhile, Shunsui recalls when he heard that Nanao's mother had been executed for losing Shinken Hakkyōken and when he stood by his dying brother, who gave him his hair pins. Shunsui expresses regret for having to assume the burden of these heirlooms as he uses Kageoni to appear behind Nanao, grasping her Zanpakutō and preparing to head into battle with her.
