Fairy Tail 445 spoilers!!! Fairy Tail 445 Predictions and Discussions !!! Fairy Tail 444 has been released now!!
Fairy Tail 444 "Emperor Spriggan"Summary:
As the Mages of Fairy Tail are gathering people in the boats, Erza marvels about Brandish's strength. Shortly after everything settles, though, Mest uses his Teleportation Magic to send the Mages underwater, specifically to a building underneath Caracole Island, whereto Mest supposedly got invited by a mysterious spy. As they then start to wonder what to do, the building suddenly changes its shape and starts moving rapidly. Afterwards, the spy appears and turns out to be Sorano, who welcomes the Mages to the Olympia Temple. As the Mages are shocked to see her instead of someone else, Sorano tells them about a favor she has to do for Mest, that being to transport everyone to Makarov, knowing his location.Meanwhile, in Albareth Empire's capital of Vistarion, Makarov is playing a card game with Yazir, being confused about the emperor's personality, treating him like a guest and being open to negotiations, as opposed to being tyrannical like Makarov thought he would be a year ago. As the two then converse about him, Makarov eventually loses the game and boasts about Yazir's skill. Immediately after, they hear an announcement about the return of Emperor Spriggan, after a year of his absence. As Yazir tells Makarov to stay calm, the latter listens to the former's advice and starts explaining himself, but is completely shocked to see that Emperor Spriggan is none other than Zeref.

Well, chapter 445 came out. Hoo boy. It answered quite a bit. According to Zeref, he was the one who created the Dragon King Festival. In addition, a couple hundred years ago, he created a country in the west continent. As time went on it became a huge empire. The invasion of Alveraz 10 years ago was not his idea. In addition, Lumen Histoire is Fairy Heart. He didn't say what it does though, so that's still up in the air. Although Makarov did say that he wouldn't let Zeref have the First Master. Oh yeah, unlike what we thought, Lumen Histoire isn't one of the three Great Fairy Magics. It's a magic far superior to those. Zeref also said that the empire was the 'power' he would use against Acnologia. Zeref said that he would start the true Dragon King Festival. Humans, the Dragon King, and Black Wizards, it was time to see who would survive. Makarov asked if it was a war and Zeref said it was an extermination. Zeref then attacked Makarov. He said he was a bit thankful to Makarov. He thanked him for bringing up Natsu. Makarov then had an incredulous look, but that may have been a look of severe pain as well, I'm not sure. Zeref said he would send Makarov's body to Natsu, which would make Natsu so angry that he would want to destroy Zeref. But, before Zeref could kill Makarov, Mest showed up and saved him. He then told the others that Zeref was there. Natsu then looked a bit made. It ended with Zeref looking in the direction of where Natsu and the others were and remarked that he was here, Natsu was here.

There was a hint to this sort of thing when Mavis' ghost met Zeref after the Grand Magic Games. She asked, 'Is there going to be a war?' to Zeref. At first, I thought Zeref would gather all his crazy followers, no shortage of them that's for sure, and fight against the world's inhabitants and then he would turn around and kill the followers. But, if he was the Emperor for a long enough time, that would make even more sense. But that raises some questions itself. I just read the Fairy Tail Zero, and it explained how Mavis and Zeref met, and why they were on pretty good terms. But, how did Mavis know that Zeref was Emperor of Alvarez? That is assuming from her statement that she did know. That's still a big question. Then, there's Lumen Histoire. How did it get made? Fairy Tail Zero explained why Mavis was stuck in a child-like form. But, how was her body encased in crystal to make Lumen Histoire? For that matter, what the heck is it? According to Hades, who was one of the founders of Fairy Tail, it had the power to destroy all the Faces on Ishgar. How would it do that? Macarov himself said that he didn't have the courage to unleash it. What about its power is that frightening? But, I'm still unsure about a TON of other things. The biggest of which is the whole thing with Igneel. 400 years ago, Igneel failed to kill E.N.D, according to both Atlas Flame and Zeref. If that's the case, how the heck did Natsu become a kid again after nearly 400 years?! And how did Igneel not remember who Natsu is?! I have some theories, but none of them are ba<x>sed on anything more than guesswork and here-say. In other words, none of my theories have much ba<x>se to go by. But that's the biggest question I have. What does Igneel have to do with this? From what I can infer from what Zeref told Natsu, Igneel tried to destroy E.N.D the person. So, how in the world did he not recognize Natsu?! Sigh, I don't know. Also, again inferring from Zeref, E.N.D made the Tartaros guild. When did he do that? And, if he did do that, why did Mard Geer not recognize Natsu? ARGH!! TOO MANY ? MARKS HERE!!!! It's maddening how much we don't know. On another topic, how is Natsu an Etherious? Zeref himself said that he didn't 'make' E.N.D because he originally had a human body. A body that Zeref preserved so perfectly, his younger brother's body. That raises another question. How is E.N.D, a soul in a dead body, any different from necromancy? And yet, Natsu's body is very much alive. I also wonder if it's a coincidence that E.N.D, the flame demon, was raised as Natsu Dragneel to be the Flame Dragon Sla<x>yer, by the Flame Dragon King Igneel. It's just so many questions that are so far unanswered. To sum it all up, this chapter answered a few questions and raised at least three times as many new questions. It's maddening really. I suppose all we can do is wait for it all to come to light.

I think Igneel failed to kill E.N.D because it was Natsu. I haven't read Fairytail Zero yet but maybe Igneel felt sorry for him or something of the sort. Why did he decide to raise him? I think he did this so that Natsu would not walk the wrong path. This is just a hypothesis.

That's true. I suppose being near Zeref so many times is unlocking the 'seal', as it were, on Natsu's memories and demonic powers. Still, never saw this thing coming. Hmm, I wonder.
