Boruto: Naruto the Movie Slated for August 7

This year’19th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump is announcing that Boruto: Naruto the Movie will premiere in Japanese theatres on August 7.

The featured poster drew by Kishimoto says “Watch me crappy old man!”

The movie is directed by Hiroyuki Yamashita. Original Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto, who is also as the movie’s chief production supervisor, will be in charge of the original work, script, character design. Ukyo Kodachi will collaborate with Kishimoto on the script.

The issue will also unveil the raw character design sketches of Bolt and Sarada.
