Manga “Soul Eater Not!” to Get Anime Adaptation

It’s been confirmed that Ohkubo Atsushi's Soul Eater Not! manga is getting an anime adaptation, by Chiaki Omigawa, voice actress of Soul Eater's Maka on a live Nicovideo radio program Thursday. 

“Soul Eater Not!” is a side-story to the main series “Soul Eater”. It began serialization in Monthly Shōnen Gangan on January 12, 2011. The story takes place just a little bit before the events of "Soul Eater". It follows three girls in NOT (Normally Overcome Target) track at the Death Weapon Meister Academy, as opposed to the battle-oriented EAT (Especially Advanced Talent) students of the main series.
