Mori Kaoru’s Otoyomegatari Wins 7th Annual Manga Taisho Award

The year of 2014 Manga Taisho (Cartoon Grand Prize) ended and Mori Kaoru won the 1st prize for her Otoyomegatari.

 

The Manga Taisho nominating committee is mostly composed of the bookstore staffers who are in charge of their respective stores' manga sections.

Publisher are also very concerned about who will be the winners,  cause they will be the best sellers once they win the award. The winner in 2012 was rakawa Hiromu's Silver Spoon. And 2013’s winner was Yoshida Akimi’s Umimachi Diary.
